Tweet me, twat me, twit….

December 17, 2009 by chintua

A funny thing happened to me the other day.
In this day and age, things happen so fast that if you blink, you’d miss them.

Take technology for example. It seems that it wasn’t too long ago when beepers were the rage. If you didn’t have one on your hip, you were either square or just plain out of the loop! At times you’d even see people wearing beepers that were not even activated. But, they had to be seen wearing one, for fear of being outed as not in step with the times.
Then it was the cell phone. Ahhh the cell phone! First, only a few people could afford to have one because they were a little on the expensive side.
Does anyone remember how big and bulky some of the early cell phones were?

Looking back now, you wonder how people carried those things around, or how we survived without them. It is estimated that there are over 200 million cell phones in use in the United States alone!
Now, with the new generation of cell phones, you can do almost anything with them. They are mini computers that do all kinds neat tasks and tricks. With cell phones now you can talk(ohh do we talk!), text, fax, facebook, myspace and twitter. It is estimated that the average teenager in the US sends over 2000 texts/month!

Ahhh, twitter! This medium has become quite the rage of the day. If you are not on twitter, you are living under a rock(no insult or offense to the rock people, of course).
Which brings me to the story about why I am writing this. My good friend(who shall remain nameless for now to avoid any rock-people-embarassment). He is a great guy. But when it comes to technology, John is a little behind on things. So, the other day I called my friend John and asked him a question. I wanted to share some information with him. So, I asked him, ” John, do you have twitter? Are you on twitter? Do you have a twitter account? John responded :” I don’t have any birds”

I almost died laughing when I heard this. I know you are not supposed to laugh at your friends’ expense, but this was a little much.
So, john asked me, “what is this twit, twat stuff you are talking about?”
I told John that twitter is a way for friends and people you know communicate and stay in touch with each other, by sharing information.
John’s reaction is quite similar to the way about 97% of entrepreneurs react to internet marketing or how to market online.

Most entrepreneurs are quite in the dark as to the right way to market their products/services online, either through relationship marketing or law of attraction concept…or loaconcept for short.
Finding the right way to get buyers online for your products/services is quite simple. All you really need to do is find and surround yourself with people who are already using a solid marketing and educational platform. Once you get this done, your internet and online marketing would literally be on autopilot!

Happy Birthday to you…..

December 3, 2009 by chintua

This here is a reflection on the celebration of birthdays. If today is your birthday, as it is mine, I want to wish you a very Happy Birthday.
With that out of the way, let’s look at the word “birthday”. What is it really? It’s a day of birth-giving.

Who is giving this birth?
Men, you needn’t answer this. It’s not us, because obviously we can’t give birth to anything other than sitting on the “golden throne” and taking care of business. That’s as much birth as men can give.
Now back to the word, “birthday”.

We celebrate this day each time the day comes when our parents told us we came to the world.
For some, it’s a day to remember. For others, it’s a day they’d rather not remember, for one reason or other. Some celebrate the day with people who care about them and the people they care about. Others share this day with noboby, either by choice or no choice of theirs.
What does the word “birthday” mean to you? Anything? Nothing? Choice or no choice?
Today, I choose to give birth to a new beginning. A day to bring value to the world through sharing of Internet Marketing, online marketing and business-building ideas that can help change the lives of those who dare to see and use said ideas.
So, Happy Birthday to you if today is your birthday!!!

Happy Veterans Day

November 11, 2009 by chintua

Happy Veterans Day to all those who have madde it possible for us all to enjoy the freedoms we enjoy in these United States.

Some veterans paid the ultimate price so that we can have these freedoms. Thank a veteran today when you see one. Thanks them everyday

This day is not just dedicated to those who are no longer with us. It is especially for those who are still serving and making the sacrifice. So, we thank them and their families for all that they do.

We should all reflect on this day and honestly ask ourselves if we have made any tangible contributions to the freedoms that we all enjoy today.

Without the sacrifices that veterans make, all the things that we take for granted would not be possible.

So, thank you , thank you, thank you, my fellow veterans

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARINES

November 10, 2009 by chintua

To all United Staes Marines all over the world, I want to wish you a very Happy 234TH Birthday.
As we all know, our beloved Marine Corps was founded on November 10th, 1775 at the Tun Tavern in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before we became a Nation. that’s a long time.
There is a reason that we are the Marines that we are. We are the President’s Own, First to fight and last to leave.
Today is a day for us to be proud of who we are. We are practically in every corner of the globe. Since the day we were founded, we have answered our country’s call to deffend our freedom whenever we were called to do so.
So, to all of you, I want to say, Semper Fidelis!

There is ONLY one #1!

NYC was awash today in confetti(and toilet paper) up the Canyon Of Heroes to City Hall. This was the day the City thanked the NY Yankees for winning the World Series of Baseball. People came from far and near to see the celebration and to witness the history-making 27th time champions ride the floats up Broadway.
One only had to be there to see how huge it was. Each player and the Manager got a Key to the City. I wonder what door those keys open! Does anyone know? Well,if you missed it, perhaps we’ll see you there next year!

27 times

The New York Yankees have done it again! For the 27th time in their history this amazing team has won the World Series of baseball.
What about the MVP of the series, Hideki Matsui. He practically won the game for the team. Who can ignore Alex Rodriguez, What a team! What a dynasty! Let’s go Yanks!

A weekend like no other

November 1, 2009 by chintua

My best friend just welcomed a beautiful grandson, Thomas Joseph.
New York Yankees are leading Phillies in the world series.
The Jets and the Giants are both playing.

The 40th running of the NYC marathon…an America male wins for the first time since 1982. Wow, what a time to be a New Yorker!
